For things in/close to Kelowna, I would recommend cycling/walking along the old Kettle Valley Railway (specifically the Myra canyon section). There is lots to do on the lake, like tubing, or wind surfing. In terms of hiking, there are multiple parks and trails around Kelowna, Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park is accessible by bus. You can always check out the visitor info centre when you arrive and ask for their opinion.
If you are able and willing to drive, I suggest you check out Cathedral Provincial Park and Protected Area outside of Keremeos.
If you want to do a road trip, check out the driving routes over at hellobc. They have routes ranging from a few hours to 10+ days.
Hope you enjoy your in Kelowna, and get a chance to check out some of the awesome things in this province!
Since camping season is coming up I just wanted to remind you guys that if you use a stick to cook over a fire, be very very careful which plant you get it from. Some branches are poisonous, such as those from cherry trees (wild or cultivated), elderberry, black locust, and the foliage/acorns of oak trees.
You would be best to stop at the dollar store and buy some cheap wood or metal rods to cook with, or make absolutely sure that you can identify plants with poisonous branches/bark.

That feeling when you wake up to the crisp chill and still or the morning. The smell of the breeze and sounds in the trees. #camping
